The Agricultural Cooperative “SAN AMADOR” is located in the municipality of MARTOS (Jaén), belonging to the Campiña Sur, and is home to the largest population in the region. Archaeological remains have existed since the Ibero-Roman era and for decades it has been the town with the largest extension of olive trees in the world. At present, the Cooperative has 702 members and an olive grove area of 2,888.17 hectares, with an average production of 13,500,000 kilos of olives and 3,000,000 kilos of oil.
Tuccioliva is the brand under which the San Amador Cooperative produces its high-end oil “Gran Selección”. The Agricultural Cooperative “San Amador” is located in the municipality of Martos (Jaén). The “San Amador” Cooperative was established in 1960 and since 1994 the company changed its production system to the “Continuous Ecological System.
Made in October with exclusively green olives and through a cold extraction process.
TASTING: Medium fruity green olive, complex, with aromas of grass, tomato, pepper and artichoke along with slightly more ripe and sweet notes of apple, banana and avocado.
The palate is balanced, bitter and spicy well balanced.
